Evenin’ ladies. How have you all been doing? I’ve gotta admit, I’ve been a very, very bad blogger recently. I’ve been swamped at work which has made me really lazy when I get home to blog. I will get it sorted, I must! I’m just recovering from a flu & wedding season which has just kicked off - I feel like I’m back in form (minus the occasional coughing fits!). I thought I’d share with you all a quick post on what my lips have been loving recently.

At £15.50 a pop, these Illamasqua lipsticks are a must have for any lipstick lovers out there. They are very pigmented & have a matte finish. Eurydice & Liable are two new shades which have become firm favourites of mine. LIABLE has some orange undertones in it which gives a nice twist to a bright red lipstick! I’m actually wearing it in my header picture 
EURYDICE is such a lovely bright fuchsia pink (I will never have enough pink lipsticks in my collection!). I find that the Illamasqua lipsticks can be drying so prepping your lips (with my favourite, Carmex) is a must along with a gloss on top, if you need/like.
I think I’ve worn Brink the most as it’s perfect for everyday wear. It’s a colour which has been in the collection for a while now. I LOVE mixing it with my peach/coral Clarins Lip Perfector, as you can see below… Perfect lipstick for summer!

I have an Illamsqua lipstick in Scandal, which is a gorgeous pink color. Unfortunately, I almost never use it as it is eztremely drying even if I use any lipbalm underneath it. Such a waste. I prefer their lipglosses which are extremely pigmented.
I LOVE their intense lip glosses, however I love the pigmentation of their lipsticks! My Carmex underneath & on top as a seal work really well to counteract the drying feel

I love Illamasqua Box, Eurydice and Obey! Although my Eurydice came broken from the root when they sent it to me and they wouldn’t exchange it for me. *angry face*
